Beach Cat Rental
Hatteras Community Sailing rents beach catamarans to qualified sailors on Pamlico Sound at rates well below what a commercial operator would charge — because access is part of our mission.
Available boats: Hobie 16, Hobie 18, and Collegiate 420. A skills checkout is required on your first rental of each class — call ahead or stop by to get on the calendar. We have wind limits by class and conditions, and we'll be straight with you about whether the day is right for it.

Rental fees support fleet maintenance, insurance, and the operational costs that make all Hatteras Community Sailing programs possible.

Hatteras Community Sailing is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Your program fee funds our youth sailing scholarships, community sailing days, and fleet maintenance — keeping sailing accessible to everyone on the Outer Banks. No child is turned away for inability to pay.
